LOTRO Harvestmath Festival Guide (2026)

Welcome to our Harvestmath Festival Guide (2026) for The Lord of the Rings Online. Fall is upon us, and at this time of year, the crisp air is known to give way to spine-chilling shenanigans once the sun goes down! Get ready for tricks and treats, spooks and surprises, gourds and goblins, and mazes and mysteries. Explore the twisting hallways and secret passages of the Haunted Burrow, or head to Wistmead for the seasonal scenery and wayward wheat field.

The 2026 Harvestmath Festival will begin October 8th, 2026 and run through November 2nd, 2026.

Getting Started with Harvestmath

To join in the festival, head to the Shire. The Party Tree and the festival grounds at Wistmead both have quests, including the wrapper quests, so start wherever suits your fancy!

Here is a rundown on how to reach all Harvestmath Festival locations:

• To the Party Tree: Buy a ride directly from any far-ranging stablemaster while the festival is active, or use the map you receive from the “Fall Festival is Here!” quest. You can also ride there overland.

• To Wistmead: The festival grounds at Wistmead are not reachable overland. To get there, look for the festival horse at the Party Tree.

What’s New – 2026 Updates

The 2026 festival will hopefully bring the usual collection of new cosmetic rewards. The cosmetic theme for this year is not yet released.

Important Activities

As with all LOTRO festivals, Harvestmath offers many options for activities, but there are a few important things of note!

Wrapper Quests

Once you arrive at your preferred festival grounds, you’ll want to be sure to pick up the “wrapper” quests.

As with all LotRO Festivals, there is a set of wrapper quests to encourage daily play. The Harvestmath wrapper has four tiers of three days each, requiring 12 total turn-ins of the daily wrapper to reap the full virtue experience and Harvestmath token reward.

Pick up these wrapper quests from Rosa Hornblower at the Party Tree or in Wistmead to get started.

Harvestmath Festival Deeds

The Harvestmath festival has several deeds that serve as great goals along your journey, offering titles, extra Harvestmath Tokens, and even special cosmetics for completion. The festival deeds typically involve completing specific quest clusters or participating over multiple days. Below is a full list of Harvestmath Festival deeds available in 2026. 

Here is a rundown of the major Harvestmath Festival deeds to track. Note: Our thorough walkthrough of how to complete the deeds and their exact rewards is coming soon.

• Consume Consumables: _________: These deeds reward the use of many, many (300) consumable items with a permanent skill version of the same effect. Many of these require another player to use them on, so plan accordingly! these consumables are often used on random, unsuspecting players just looking through the barter menu or waiting on a cooldown.

• Harvestmath: This is a super simple deed that simply requires logging in at any point since 2010 while the Harvestmath Festival is active. It rewards the title ‘Foliage Watcher’.

• The Haunted Burrow: This deed rewards doing all of the various quests relating to the Hunted Burrow at least once.

• The Wistmead Wheat Maze: This deed is for solving the wheat maze in all its forms. That’s doing both versions of the navigation quest for each of its five different arrangements.

• Treats or Trickery: There are a lot of these deeds. They all involve doing the Treats or Trickery quest, which means visiting player housing to pick up treats (while in costume!) from the special treat-laden doormats provided by Begonia Grubb. For a couple variations of this deed, you’ll want to have consistent access to all eight varieties of treat doormats. If you don’t know of a good place, keep an eye on world chat for advertisements of neighborhoods or houses that have all the doormats available.

• Inn League & Ale Association Trials: While not exclusive to Harvestmath, the festival does activate the rival faction delivery runs and initiation quests, allowing you to progress their respective seasonal deeds.

Essential Harvestmath Festival Tips & Tricks

In addition to the usual quests, Harvestmath also offers a few free treasures. Stop by the Party Tree for Apple-bobbing, Thorin’s Hall Inn for geode-picking, Duillond for… scroll-grabbing?… Elves. Or, the Bree festival grounds for pumpkin picking. Also stop by the secret room in Bag End to open the three chests there. It isn’t usually much, but isn’t free stuff great?

As with all major LOTRO festivals, Harvestmath offers several rewards for participating and completing activities! While we are still actively working on compiling a complete list of rewards for the Harvestmath festival, we do have a list of the types of rewards you can expect to find. All of these can be bartered for at the Harvestmath Barter NPC, Rosa Hornblower, located at the Party Tree and in Wistmead.
